Losing to the Citadel, dropping a de facto national title game to the hated Longhorns, having to admit we play in the same conference as Ole Miss... all low points for Arkansas football. This, however, was the lowest point for the program.

Shows how bad he truly was because that team still had some good talent on it and we saw glimpses of it at times that year.

yeah, there's no reason Arkansas shouldn't have won at least 8 or 9 games that year. Going 4-8 was shocking

I agree. We were several ppls dark horse for a Natty.
The next year(CBBs first) was not a surprise. Petrinos recruiting whiffs and him taking 7 WRS in one class came to roost.
