LSU in the tournament under Paul Mainieri (since 2008)
W/L: 27-6 (four losses by one run)
Batting average: .297
ERA: 2.51
Run differential: 199-94?
No guarantees, but I like our chances

Hopefully we'll use our heads and everything will work out.

Impossible! Alabama and Auburn have the advantage at Hoover (or that's what I have been reading here).

Bama and Tennessee will go undefeated.

This is meaningless to some folks.

Don't forget 5 titles in 8 tourneys. He also won five Big East tourneys in a row at Notre Dame. And got Notre Dame to the CWS.
Also, because of the weird single-double-single elim format, we were booted out the last two years in the semis with only one loss to a team (UF) that had a loss.
