Congratulations to Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Florida for their 2010 recruiting efforts. Annually these teams do extremely well in recruiting and this year is no different. All have recruited well and have exceeded most fans expectations. These programs quietly go about the business of recruiting and consistently pordsuce great recruiting classes.
Attention for effort should be given to Auburn for trying new and inventive ways to entice high profile recruits to visit the desolation of the Alabama Plains. A tremendous amount of noise, anticipation, and expectations have filled the air of the Auburn Plains this summer. July has seen at least one JUCO and two three star recruits fall onto the Auburn Tiger's commitment list. Out of the 11 commits Auburn does boast of a four star kicker, ranked #2 by some sports media outlets.
Fans of Auburn and the rest of the SEC anxiously await National signing day to see if the seeds of recruiting sprout from the manure of summer.
Good luck to Auburn for a rise from mediocrity to some form of relevance makes for a healthier SEC west. Fans keep the faith-----this can happen.

For future reference:
Alabama, Georgia, LSU, and Florida don't have to work to get recruits.

Yes sirreeee!!!! That is the way it works!!!
The coaches just sit back in their lounging chairs wearing nothing but a smile---------oh!! Forgive me that is the Tennessee coaches wearing nothing but sa smile------in their plaid shorts and Polo shirts sipping a nice cold beer and watch the four and five star high profile recruits come into their offices and beg for the opportunity to play for them. Some coaches have reported that some recruits wanted to play so badly the recruits offered to buy them Esclades, Cadillacs, or Hummers.

THe schools above recruit themselves, coaches dont have to do much

Yep..old Coach Richt and Coach Garner..they don't work.
The best QB in Texas a few years ago (Stafford) just recruitied himself.
Top 2 players from Missouri a few years ago (A White and L Gray) just recruited themselves.
Orson Charles and Aarron Murray (2 of the top recruits in Florida last year)..they just fell in our lap.
Same for Marlon Brown and Austin Long (Top 2 players in TN last year). Or AJ Green (Top WR in South Carolina).
UGA coaches don't work at "crutin"

exactly.. per capita Mississippi ranks at the top of NFL talent in the league and its not like Mississippi State has presented much competition over the years

Absolutely. Especially considering how often those teams are in direct competition for the same recruit.

I think that the phrase "As much as some" would be perfect in that sentence.

Les Miles is a little bit better of a coach than Coach O.
The Coach O years are the worst three year stretch in Ole Miss history.
We historically mediocre, not historically Coach O bad.

Of course, just look at what he did at Okie State.
