The sec has made a big dent in east Texas. Since a&m joined. Central Texas is slowly coming along.

I'd say Houston is now a big time SEC city. It has the largest alumni base for A&M plus many LSU alums. I can't speak for the DFW area.

South Texas is still squarely XII because the Mexicans love their Longhorns, although most of them couldn't tell you what conference tu is in much less who their head coach is.

Ohioans think of Cincinnati as being Kentucky's biggest city, so there's that.

What about Cincinnati which borders Kentucky????
why would it?

Anti-Ohio State and anti-Big Ten sentiment from the U of Cincy fanbase.

My sister is a UC alum and has lived up there for around 15 years, after getting a couple of semesters in at LSU. Her hubby is also a Cincy alum. He's become a surrogate LSU fan, but he also pulls for Bama, Florida, and other SEC programs to do well. Says the Buckeye sidewalk fans are beyond arrogant and obnoxious to be around.

If the cable/media providers in those cites have the SECNetwork, then yes

Pretty sure SECN is national now. I think Big Ten Network is too.

frick Cincinnati. Although I'd sooner claim them than the mouth breathers in Northern Kentucky just across the river.
