Florida- #1 seed Right now: Lock to make the NCAA

Mizzou- #8 Seed right now: Almost a Lock to make NCAA but still some work to do.
Number 36 RPI,
Strong Non Conf SOS Helps with games at UCLA,
at Louisville, vs Illinois in STL, vs VCU in Bahamas, vs Stanford in Bahamas, and vs. Bucknell.

Ole' Miss. #10 Seed right now: On the bubble, be careful due to weak Non Conf Schedule Prob need to win out, only top 50 RPI win vs a Mizzou team without Bowers or Bell.

UK. Right now maybe a # 12 Seed: need to go at least 5-1 in last 6 games so they need to either beat Missouri or Florida.

Bama: NIT Lock, Outside looking in for NCAA, Need to win out and prob win a game or two in SEC tournament.

Arkansas: NIT Lock, Outside Looking in for NCAA, Need to win out and win at least two or three Games in SEC tournament

Tenn: Maybe NIT but still have work to do

A&M: Maybe NIT but still have work to do

LSU: Maybe NIT but still have work to do

I don't think we're a lock for a 1 seed yet. There's still a good chance we'll drop a couple of games, and I'm just sure for some reason that someone else will win the SEC tourney.

If we won out and won two or three in the sec tourney we'd have 24 to 25 wins. We wouldn't even be sneaking in.

Realistically, we need to go 4 of 6 with a win over Florida or Kentucky and then win one or two in the sec tourney.

If we win out, which we won't, we wouldn't even need an sec tourney win.

Mizzou is not a lock and still have very tough games ahead. Mizzou is what, 6th in the conference right now?

I think if my beloved Bama can win 13 conference games and get a couple wins in the conference tournament, we might get a very low NCAA seed. I don't see us going as of right now but it could happen. Even though the SEC is at its weakest i can remember, i'm proud of our team for sitting alone at #2 right now. At the start of conference play, our future looked real bleak.

The number of wins for Bama at this point is not that relevant. Bama needs RPI boosts, and right now Florida is the only team on the schedule that can really deliver that - yet the gap is SO wide, it's hard to believe we can beat them even in the best of circumstances.

That screwing at Tennessee is really costing us now, but you can't blame that because the refs handed us the Kentucky game just days earlier.

Yea Legend you've made valid points. I don't see us beating Florida either. I watched a little bit of the UF-AU game yesterday and those Gator players hit the 3 at will. All those horrible early season home losses aren't helping our bid either. But, for us to be sitting at 9-3 and #2 in conference play is pretty remarkable imho. I thought we'd be at 3-9 right about now.

The more I analyze it, the more I realize the problem - I'm trying to find a way around the fact that we're just not that good.

I do like where we are sitting in the conference. Considering our complete lack of inside game, it's impressive that our guys are playing so hard. (I never thought I'd see a team with so many wins without scoring 60)

No Alabama is NOT that good. But they are at 2 in the conference right now and have several winnable games ahead. I think the Ole Miss game is crucial they need to some how steal that one.

Finish two and I don't see how they leave us out.

@Arkansas will be a tougher game than either of those.

That about covers it. We are largely in second place right now due to the weak SEC schedule we have played not because we are the second best team.
