I guess my point is, this Auburn team could end up being really good, but 90% of people think they'll be between 7-5/9-3

When is the last time Alabama beat a 9 win Auburn team? If Auburn is good enough to win 9 this year, I don't look for one of the losses to be to Alabama.

I feel pretty confident in that, and feel like recent history is on my side there.

Well, IF you had beaten us in 2009, 2011 or 2014 you would have won 9. But you didn't.

I guess we'll see. I think a home game against Auburn is the 6th hardest game on our schedule, mostly because we generally only lose to National Championship/BCS level type teams at home and I don't think Auburn will be that (though I think they'll be improved and a solid 8-4 type team).

If they are, then sure, it's possible. It's also possible we lose at Arkansas or at home to Mississippi State. I don't think the odds are real high, though.

worst case: 8-4 miles fired

I think our best case scenario involves going 15-0. We have probably as good a chance as anyone of running the table.
If we go 8-4 this season, with all the talent on that roster, I'll probably just give up watching college football permanently.

Best: 9-3

UK manages to win their OOC games (Southern Miss, New Mexico State, Austin Peay, and Louisville). While beating two teams in conference they beat last season (South Carolina and Mizzou) and picking up a couple that were less than a TD or less losses last season (Vandy and Florida). They then manage to beat a Dak-less State in Lexington.

Worst: 2-10

Only wins over Austin Peay and New Mexico State. 0-fer conference. So long Stoops.
