H/T to @NicholasCarr on Twitter for formatting this data (originally done by a BigXII/KSU twitter dude)

Here are the SEC advanced stats through week 7 (using @SBN_BillC 5 factors). Sorted by off/def, differential, & SEC games only. h/t @ksu_FAN

Yeah man. When I came across it the first time, really liked how easy it was to read/interpret. Wish they would share their actual raw data/spreadsheets, as it allows for additional calculations... and I don't have the patience to build it from BC's raw data on a weekly basis. So for now, will just enjoy what they shared.

Agree - it's nice to have the entire conference together like that.

The other one I like a lot that is recent are his team pages on college football study hall. Those will only give you one team at a time, but it has all the data for each team on it grouped by area. Makes it easy.

I just like looking at all that stuff. I don't always agree with what it says, but it at least makes me think and question what my eyes are telling me.

Bama leading 13 out of 14 categories for both SEC play and overall is just stupid.

The stats certainly support that hypothesis...

Bama the only team with starting defensive field position averaging better than a kickoff touchback every possession. Impressive.

How messed up is Tennessee's offense to have the third best starting field possession yet to be dead last in points per drive?

These stats aren't weighted by opponent so having played Ole Miss, Vandy, A&M and Arkansas instead of the more efficient teams makes Bama look even better than they might otherwise.

Course those teams would probably have better stats if they hadn't played Bama haha.

Maybe.

But Butch Jones still couldn't score in a Nevada whorehouse with a pocket full of hundreds.
