It’s not that I don’t believe this. It’s just that I don’t believe this.

I think Georgia will test Alabama in the middle of the defense against the run like nobody else on our schedule (if that game happens) and we will see if we are still as stiff there as we were in the past, but outside of that and the pure pass rush off the edge I think this defense is just as good as last year.

It's a different scheme and group, but our coverage skills are better in the secondary one on one and we can blitz from any position on the field. And I think Pruitt is at his best scheming blitzes (and I think our guys are too).

Like I said last year in my Bama vs A&M break down and have said this season: despite their flaws in defense, their defenses are very aggressive and force a lot of negative plays. They give up a lot of big plays too though.

4.8 sacks a game is ridiculous. Late last season I believe Bama had the lead with 3 per game I think. I don't think we finished with the lead though. 4.8 is insane, if they can keep it up

A lot of those are wrong.

Eta
I'll say some, since I didn't check a lot. Just the ones that seemed off, like scoring defense and total defense.

They'd be wrong if they were for the whole season. However, as was noted twice, these are vs P5 opponents only.
