Right now it's hard to argue about LSU's chances. They have it going on this year. USC looks like they have taken a step back from last year and Ark looks like a big favorite on some nights.

SC is too inconsistent. I mean we're a decent 7-4 in the SEC, a good overall record. Should make the NCAA tourny easy. At this point would host a regional, not a Super. We have marks of great hitting and great pitching but neither seems to hang around for too long.
Just too much missing from our championship rosters.
Roth, Price, Walker, and of course coach Tanner.
Then again we started 4-10 in the SEC last season and made it back to the championship series so who knows.

I'll go with SCAR. They've been the benchmark the last 3 years

Vandy is looking pretty unbeatable lately but the Sunday games still haven't been played. Let's talk after.

LSU, Arkansas, and Vandy are obviously the cream of the crop for the SEC. I'd give LSU the edge because of the hitting.
Arkansas reminds a lot of the LSU team last year. Really stout pitching with average hitting. Last 10 games Arkansas hasn't scored more than 6 runs.
LSU has a really good 1-2 punch for pitching, but Sunday is an issue at this point. I would give the edge in pitching to Arkansas.

If we can get McCune back to freshmen form, then we might be unstoppable.

That's a lot of IF based on his last season performance and summer ball. He was getting hammered in fall ball too. I hope he comes to form, but I just don't see it.

I'm hoping that his back may have been bothering him last year and that was his problem.
May be wishful thinking but a man can hope

I know. It's wishful thinking ATM, but not out of the realm of possibility. Could have just been the sophomore slump.

Kentucky.
Oh wait, LSU just kicked the shite out of them.

its hard to blame almost two straight years of bad pitching on an injury.

Dammit didn't I just say a man could hope

Yea...I just don't see why people are putting so much stock in him at this point.

Tossup between LSU and Vandy. I don't think you can call one or the other at the moment; that's why they have been interchangeable at the 2 and 3 spots in the polls and RPI rankings.
