How much do these population shifts effect the growth of the Universities and in turn the Athletic Programs?

It's amazing what the invention if A/C did for Florida. And it also explains why the panhandle/north Florida has the most hard core crackers in the south.

I bet that population figure for texas is low. Doubt it includes the +/- 2 million illegals.

Southeast Florida went from 23,000 people in 1900 to 3,180,000 people in 2004.

Dude, they are everywhere. I was in arkansas at a chicken plant, immigration showed up and the whole place (500 employees) disappeared

Isn't really anything to factor in. The list are ranking as of the total # of states at the time of the census.
