LSU got 8 starters back from a team that smashed basically every offensive school record, and suddenly we can't hit to save our lives. it's frustrating but they can still turn it around

At this point I'm wondering if the baseball and softball teams at Alabama and LSU got the script wrong. How did Alabama softball lose to LSU? How did LSU baseball lose to Alabama?

I agree it's very frustrating, but like you said they have the experience and ablility to get back on track. Hopefully they will.

Man the SEC is stacked and will rep in full force in the postseason again

LSU's softball team has been struggling a bit, especially on offense. Not one run in the entire series against Kentucky, at home too. Hope these girls turn it around.

Well LSU and Alabama softball are much better than the schools' baseball programs either way right now

LSU was hitting the ball well when it beat Alabama. LSU finished 4th in the country and got everyone back, so it's not like losing to LSU is embarrassing. I guess it's chemistry issues or something strange

Couldn't tell you about softball but the baseball team is the youngest in the conference. We struggled early on in the season and they seem to be hitting their stride now.

There are no senior position players on the team and only 1 returning starter position player from last year.

Worst of all, Lange hasn't been himself all season till this week's start.

The SEC will probably have 5 teams in OKC.

That's the first time in history that UK has done that. Also the first time UK has ever swept LSU in BR.
