Does anyone know when the 2016 SEC schedule is set to be announced? I'm trying to plan a fall wedding (let the bashing begin) around LSU's schedule and want to make sure they will have the same bye week (October 29) next year.

I'd plan on it being the same weekend as this year. Might as well go ahead and book the weekend

what kind of idiot lets their fiancé plan a fall wedding. Any weekend you pick will piss off a fan of at least one school. And Hurricanes will end up causing scheduling havoc. Good Luck.
And why are you planning around LSU's schedule if you are a rebel???!!!???

why? have it in the spring or the last weekend in august.
you realize even if it is on an LSU bye week people still won't come (because football) and every few years your anniversary will fall on an LSU game, right?

I don't believe the SEC has announced it's portion of the schedule yet, but they released it around this time last year for 2015.

Then you are obviously not a CFB fan, so what difference does it make what the schedule is? If you're the groom and letting your fiance` force you into a fall wedding, then your hopeless life is over anyway, so who cares if you miss a game?

1. Is it your wedding? If so, my condolences.
2. If it is a sibling, knock some sense into them.
3. If it is a cousin, (acknowledges they're from MS) see number 1.

Our pastor is an Auburn man who doesn't do fall weddings. Made it real easy for us not to do that.

I truly believe that having a fall wedding in the South is one of the most inconsiderate things you can do.
Hope she/he is worth it.

Also, if it's a fall wedding, that means the anniversary every year will be in the fall. If she's got him so whipped he agrees to the wedding during FB season, it's a given she'll be dragging his arse off to parties, trips, etc. every year for their anniversary. So, she's got a built-in way to frick him over every football season. He's definitely starting this out on the wrong foot.

I got married September 19, 2015 in Charleston. My wife even let me pick my September Saturday, and my dumbass assumed SCAR was week 2. Anyway, we invited 140 and had 130 show. Of that group, a shite ton of football fans. A wedding only happens once (or twice for some), football games happen 12-13 times a year. I say frick it when people say don’t do a fall wedding. If you’re in the South and May is booked, you’re going straight to September.

You can do it right and still get married during football/basketball season.
I attended a spring wedding during basketball season on the day of a UK game. They planned the wedding so the service would end well before gametime and had a set up at the reception where it was basically a huge arse watch party. When their anniversary falls on gameday, they just celebrate it the day before or the next day.
