Standard super average team

9-1 vs teams 100+ in RPI
3-9 vs teams in Top 100
1-9 vs teams in Top 50

Just shows you how much of a guards game college basketball is because they have one of the better front courts in the conference.

I'm surprised the last two minutes of the Auburn game didn't go into Feb 8th.

Yep. Tyler Davis is a stud and Williams is great on the boards and blocking shots.

However, like you said, they are 221st nationally in 3P% and 316th nationally in FT%. And they are 301st in turnover %.

If they just had average guard play they'd probably be a bubble team.

The new foul emphasis the past couple years has basically neutered the dominant post game.

No reason to pass to the post when every drive is a foul and loose defense is a 3.

Frustrating. You'd think they'd be able to find some sort of compromise between body bumps and calling every hand check, but they decided referees couldn't handle the discretion to make their own decisions.

No kidding. What was the real time? 45 minutes?

I watch almost every Hawks game and the difference in the officiating is maddening. The way these college games are being called is ruining the game.

19 fouls in the last two minutes. Not sure the real time. Had to be atleast 30-45 minutes.

I do too. It isn't even the same sport. It really isn't. For multiple reasons, but the officiating has something to do with it. Only the very, very best played and officiated college games feel like they get into a ping pong back and forth flow.

I feel like 75% of Hawks games do, even when we aren't necessarily playing at peak efficiencies. We'll have ugly stretches, but it never feels like things are getting bogged down because of fouls or stoppages.

Y'all give Missouri a break. They are on double secret probation and do not have any scholarship players. Has to be it.
