So auburn is in if there is no upsets to the regular season champs in the conference tourneys in the one bid leagues? Good luck with that.

I'm predicting:

UK - 2 seed
UF - 3 seed (The Egbunu factor will come into play even if UF wins the SEC Tournament)
Arkansas - 7 seed
South Carolina - 8 seed
Vanderbilt - 11 seed (First Four)

I will take any seed. Just want to get Barry and Stone back to 100%.

That is kind of how I see it playing out. I figure Arkansas finished 1-1 in these last two and then goes 1-1 or 2-1 in the SECT.

My thought is also that the committee will hold the SEC teams in higher regard than most bracketologists out there.

From that it looks like only four teams will make the tournament. I can see Vandy or Georgia getting in with a good showing in the SEC

It's shocking LSU is still above Missouri in the RPI. I know both teams continue to lose, but Mizzou has been competitive in nearly all their games, including Kentucky. They could be a tough out in the SEC tourney

Vandy has the number 2 SOS working in their favor, their record is weighted heavily by this meaning the losses aren't held against them as heavily was a team with a much weaker SOS.

Vandy is in decent shape as long as they don't implode. They'll be a play in game team, but in decent shape for that. No other bubble teams can match their SOS and quality wins really.

Legit shot the SEC gets 5 teams in

RPI is based exclusively off W/L and not quality of play.

If both teams continued to lose at the same rate and play roughly the same schedule , it isn't "shocking" at all

While this week will continue to bolster their SOS, Vandy can't afford to get blown out by both UK and UF. I don't care your SOS, 16-15 won't get it done. That would drop them to 8 or 9 in the conference, meaning they would likely draw a rested U.K. In the Wildcat Invitational.

1-1 this week is necessary for Vandy to make it in.

Some slight RPI movement in the top 3 in the league but not much.

Lunardi should release his bracket shortly as well and will add.

If that 1 is at Rupp, I think they are definitely in. If the one is a home win over Florida, I think they need one at the SECT to feel safe.

Team rankings projects Vandy to lose the next two and still make the field as a play in game participant.

They have them forecasted at 16-15 overall with highest percentage of making the field of any P5 team on their play in line.

This tells me that any win of their final two regular season games will likely lock them in, no matter which game it is.

Added Lunardi to the mix in OP.

He now has 5 SEC teams in. 1 in first four out and 1 in next four out.

16-13 overall

They've got the #3 SOS in the nation as well. So, they're getting a lot of love for it.
