How the hell do they have them ranked number 4? Is beating LSU that big of a deal?
Posted on 8/5/15 at 5:23 pm to geauxnavybeatbama
That one jumped out at me more than any other on the list.

Sports Illuatrated has to stop sucking off Alabama sometime, don't they?

19 returning starters. Should be pretty good. Don't know about #4.

Yea they can't honestly believe Notre Dame is better than bama. And auburn at 2? They have to be doing this just to sell magazines

Notre Dame is the Dallas Cowboys of college football;
No matter how shitty they actually are, they'll still get media hype every offseason.

The media will push for ND to get into the BCS/Playoff until they lose 4 games and even then there will be some still pushing for it.
Been that way for years!

Mine would be Auburn at #2.

They looked really good against an LSU defense coached by a guy who took a job at another team and didn't take us out of a 4-2-5 against heavy sets.

You know what's funny about this, people thought the Cowgirls were gonna suck arse last year and they won 12 games and the division.

Thier 2012 season was enough for the voters to justify themselves putting the Irish in the top 15 for the next 10 years

No SEC fans can complain after the cluster frick that put Ole Miss and Mississippi State in the top 5 before winning much of anything.

And Auburn at #2 just completely flew by your eyes? Auburn is getting undeserved USC and formerly Oklahoma levels of hype for absolutely nothing.
Lost 4 of their last 5 games, lost 2 year starter at QB, lost their #2 WR, lost the starting and backup RB (all of those combined for 2770 of the 3321 rush yards and 27 of the 32 rush TDs).
At least in 2013 they had an established guy in Mason and the dynamic running of Marshall. We have no idea how good Johnson will be. Arkansas does not have a good secondary and screens and slants against them and some chump team are not enough to say this guy is the #2 QB in the SEC and heisman contender. People putting this guy's o/u rushing at 700 yards is ridiculous to say the least. Physically he looks good, but so does Cardele and I think he's overrated out of his arse as well. Johnson is no Cam Newton like the media desperately wants everybody to believe. If people really think his read option fakes will be as good as Marshall's, you're sniffing paint. I think he's going to be good, and elite if he comes back the next year, but right now, he's just a huge load of hype.
Do they think Muschamp will just sprinkle some fairy dust and the defense will be magically improved in a couple months? I can see the pass rush improving, but to think he still won't give up gobs of points and yards need to look at a UF team with more talent and experience on defense, give up gobs of points and yards on several occasions.

Who the frick does Sports Illustrated "poll" to come up with its rankings? There are plenty of legitimate polls, but that ain't one of them.

Look I don't get it either on Auburn, but the SEC media picked them as conference champs and if any team "yo yos" in the SEC, it is Auburn. ND is another story.

How can anybody not like Notre Dame? They are the greatest college football program of all-time.
