Not much movement up top nor on the bottom. However, the middle is a complete cluster. LSU moved up quite a bit after taking down Florida, while Arky dropped after being defeated by South Carolina.
Here are the results!
Alabama – After back to back dominant showings in SEC play, many expected Alabama to continue its assault on the conference. However, inconsistencies by the Tide offense, penalties, and capitalizing on broken plays allowed Texas A&M to hang until late in the 4th quarter. Tackling the talented freshman Kellen Mond posed a problem for the Tide defense at times, allowing the former IMG Academy star to conjure the spirit of Manziel in the first week of October. Breaking away from tackles to place a perfect pass in the Tide's redzone. The Tide turns to its next divisional opponent, the Arkansas Razorbacks, hoping to correct the problems that marred them against the Aggies.
Georgia – Finished the tour de Tennessee in dominating fashion. Running backs are some of the best in the nation by themselves, together they have proven unstoppable. Next up Missouri. One game at a time chopping wood all the way.
Auburn – There's been a disturbing lack of drama around AU games the past few weeks. We've started fast against all 3 SEC opponents and by the 4th quarter most of the reserves (well at least defensively) are in the game. Kerryon Johnson is Mr TD right now and Jarrett Stidham continues to settle in nicely. Everything on paper says that should continue this week against LSU but having seen the voodoo Baton Rouge provides first hand, I will keep my cigars tightly sealed and stored away until the clock ticks to zero.
Texas A&M – Bama and the refs are still #1....but at least we avoided a blowout. Florida looks pretty beatable and our fans should be able to celebrate a victory by grabbing some tail...errr jum....I mean humping a shark. At least I hear that's what they are into in Florida these days.
Mississippi State – It was tough but we managed to squeak bye.. zing! Seriously, it was probably good to have a week off after the arse kicking we got in our last two games. We have two winnable home games coming up, starting with the polygamists this week.
LSU – Eddie, Eddie, Eddie!!! The Tigers pulled off a tough, ugly win in very Miles-ish style. Now Aubie comes to town looking to stop their 18 year losing streak in BR...most players on either team do not remember the last time the Barn won in Baton Rouge.
Kentucky – Oh Kentucky, the missed opportunities thru 6 games. We have to be the worst 5-1 team in America.
Florida – Florida is hot garbage right now. We will be lucky to become bowl-eligible at this juncture. The coaching is lacking, the depth is lacking, and time management is piss poor. Add in the fact that our luck has run out and we face equally or better competition save two games the rest of the way, we may not make a bowl game.
South Carolina – Like we said, BBQ is better in South Carolina.
Vanderbilt – Well, that's about what we expected. Is there another seat at the loser table? Vandy has not been able to contain SEC running backs, and Georgia showcased their ability to destroy opposing front 7s. The solace is that we scored 14 more points against Georgia than the Vols did. That makes us the new Champions of Life, right?
Tennessee – Well, we survived the bye week with only a couple fights between teammates leading to suspensions. Up next is Butch's Alamo, a loss to USCe would almost seal his fate though I'd still expect it to be a couple weeks before he's fired
Arkansas – I hope Jeff Long was watching the game. I would rather have colonoscopy than watch Arkansas get destroyed by Bama.
Ole Miss – (Voters are needed)
Missouri – (Us too)

My favorite parts are the spreads of each school
Kentucky with 4th and 12th place votes. South Carolina with 4th and 11th place votes. Missouri with 13th and 14th. Impressive TURNAROUND

I just like the colors. It reminds me of my crayon-eating days in the Corps.

LOL @ A&M blaming the refs that kept them in the game.

EXPN has KY 7th (top half of conference) and that looks like 3 votes based on size of blue line
plus, the Wildcats are only one DC away from being undefeated (or 2 uncovered defenders - whatever)
here is what ESPN has for comparison:
1. Alabama
2. Georgia
3. Auburn
4. Texas A&M
5. LSU
6. Florida
7. Kentucky
8. South Carolina
9. Mississippi State
10. Vanderbilt
11. Arkansas
12. Tennessee
13. Ole Miss
14. Missouri

Lol@ Bama fans not acknowledging that Monds fumble was caused by an uncalled face mask grab that tried to rip his head off, and that they got awarded a fumble that never happened.
That's 2 turnovers, don't pretend you didn't benefit from that. Or how about the ball batted forward penalty that didn't get called?

Let's not go full retard here.
Regardless of how they got there UK is 5-1 which is the 2nd best record in the league. I'm not saying they are better than Georgia, or LSU, but rankings are based upon performance and not history.

I find it hysterical that one disillusioned voter felt Auburn was the #2 team. Gosh. I can't. Imagine. Who that must've been.
Posted on 10/10/17 at 7:16 am to VoxDawg
And I'm going to assume that, as Lew said last week, they weren't barners
