outside of those who have studied film on each, I'm not sure who's qualified to make that pick, to be honest.

I'd think 1st team All-American honors as well as being projected as the 1st C taken would be sufficient.

No E.J. Gaines? You should ask Mike Evans if E.J. deserves a spot on this team.

Telling that Clowney didn't even make this list.

Jordan Matthews wasn't unanimous?

SEC had some stout receivers this season. Although, I do believe Matthews was the best. The only thing that prevented him from taking home some serious hardware was his lack of TDs.

Draft scouts do however and Swanson is projected as a 1st round pick.

The fact that Quarles was unanimous is more telling of what Clowney did this year...

but draft projects are an accumulation of several things, not just play on the field (which is the sole component of all-conference and all-america teams).

i just don't get how people can be so definite that one guy had a better season than the other... both teams had tons of success this year running inside and neither gave up many sacks. Other than sitting down and grading each guy's film, I don't know how anyone can be so positive.

Pretty solid list. Also loving how the first response was about JMatt not being unanimous. Well done to pick a great list from a conference where every position can have tons of debate.

Playing at 3/4 speed all year will do that to a player...

The AP All-SEC team had Kony Ealy, E.J. Gaines, and Michael Sam for Mizzou on defense.

AP = no Yankee bias. SECR committee = Yankee biased.

I think the correct term now is "carpetbaggers".
