Who cares? The tards on this board are more worried about Auburn's financial problems than anybody at Auburn is. Since we are planning over 200 million in projects that will be paid for by the athletic department, I don't think the powers that be are very concerned about it at all. Auburn had also accumulated around 30 million in profit combined over the previous 5 or 6 years.

No tards here worried about AU. Being the only AD in the red fits the AU persona though.

Maybe if Georgia spent some money they would win something that matters

Like football games vs Auburn?
Btw- there is a tinge of irony in your comment.

Nope like an SEC title or NCG.
It's pathetic all UGA has now is beating Auburn. Literally the only thing that has kept Mark Richt employed at UGA so long is his record against Auburn. Glad to know you all think so highly of us.
And go ahead and tell me all about the irony. All you have is rumors and unproven BS.
Meanwhile in Athens not even a year ago your starting RB got busted and punished for accepting a few grand $$$
Now that's ironic.

I think Aubrun has a spending problem. I don't want to have to bail them out.

Bama did that last year alone...

Wow. 30 million over the last 5-6 years combined? Alabama did that EACH of the last 5-6 years.

I find this so fricking funny considering all the lip most on the rant gave about LSU being bankrupt. LSU fans knew exactly what was going on because it happens every fricking year. People should not post stupid shite they know nothing about other than reading something in a paper!!!
You do realize this is from the athletic department which is completely different from the school and its lack of state funding.

To be fair to everybody else Alabama has the market cornered on Wal Mart merchandise sales.
Cullman is building a second Wal Mart that should be open by kickoff. That should net Bama an extra $1 million per year alone right there.

It's the only good byproduct of an army of sidewalk fans.

Yet they still play in the dump they call Coleman Coliseum.

It's complete horseshite. The school NOT the AD paid for this dormitory (which is against NCAA rules BTW)
Yet any "student" who moves in HAS to have have permission from the Athletic Department ?
It's precisely the reason there are rules against athletic departments building "jock dorms"
The athletic department should have no say at all on who can move into the dorm.

It's hard to justify building a new arena when over $40 million in rennovations were done less than a decade ago. Not to mention a $10 million dollar practice facility was built five years ago and is attached to it. But if baseball can get a $45-50 million dollar upgrade, basketball will get its turn at some point.

Welcome to the new Arms Race. AU has chosen to spend money on Athletic Infrastructure instead of fan amenities (will come later). We will see if that strategy works long term.

You Georgia fans are like from some other world sometimes.
All that matters is the golden rule. Get spending!
