My vote for SEC coach of the year has to go to Johnny jones. nobody else could frick up talent this much. It is impressive

I would say Monk would pose the biggest threat

Agreed. That's why I didn't throw Frank in the OP as COTY.

If there was such a thing as MVP for the SEC, very strong consideration would go to JJ Frazier. Over the last three games since Maten's injury (including KY since Maten played 1 minute in that game), JJ has averaged 31 ppg w 3 rebounds, 4 assists and only 5 turnovers total.

I have respect for Frazier as well. I would put him up there with Thornwell with the edge to Thornwell.

Other than our own Davis, who came on to late to even be in the discussion, Frazier is my favorite SEC player to watch.
