Before over confident teams start buying tickets and making travel plans. No reason the Playoff committee can't wait a week. Would even give them a week to really look at resumes. Also Falcons play the following day. Pushing it back one week allows them to play the weekend of a falcons road game

Won't happen.

Just give up your patsy on the 19th. You'd rather play South Alabama than Florida?

They can't do that due to bowl announcements and scheduling from the NCAA.

rather not lose millions and play two road games in 5 days due to an incompetent administration

Just play it as the early game just before the SEC championship rematch of Alabama vs Tennessee.

$4m + in lost revenue. Florida had every opportunity to play the game.

I think he meant that they would not be able to play the same week as the SEC championship game. What if Florida is in the mix? Either way, I agree it's not an option. Game is lost.
