Wonder who gave Arkansas their lone first place first.

None. I'd swap state and A&M in the west, UK & USCe in the east and that's it.

Alabama's 10 First-Team selections to the preseason All-SEC teams were an SEC Media Days record.

Missouri was the 7th best team in the East last year, and I can assure you that the SEC has been more stacked than it was in '16.

Mizzou also returned the entire offense, and recruited some highly sought jucos to help fill in what we lacked last year on D. 6-6 record would be the absolute worst this year.

Alabama has 4 OL on the ALL SEC OL list. That's nuts. They are going to run the ball so much this year with Hurts, Harris, and Scarborough. I'm not sure how people are going to stop that this year.

No disrespect intended but as someone who's watched the East over the last 4 to 6 years I'm not sure what you mean.

As a Kentucky fan I'm more upset we haven't done more to move up in the East while its been so down.

I guess what I'm getting at is the SEC East used to be so much better. The power swing to the west has been undeniable.

Mizzou's offense will be pretty good, but JUCOs are unlikely to fix Mizzou's defense.

Mizzou miserable defense wasnt even really because of players. wiBO had admitted(although obvious) how badly he screwed up with the coaches, play calling, and scheme. He has fixed that issue, actually had fixed the late in the year when we fired a coach.

Defense will still be a little suspect, but improved along with the offense from last year.

If you're addressing my comment about the sec being so stacked, it was a bit of sarcasm. I was just playing to the fact that mizzou, if indeed finishes 7th, its because the East is so amazing.

With what UK returns, still think they finish higher than 5th. But this is the SEC Media, it's not like they're terribly accurate.
