Most SEC logos are BOLD letters, from the "V" for Vandy, "F" for Florida, and so on. Someone please explain why Bama logo is a little prissy, slanted "a" that looks very similar to the Atlanta Braves "A"?

They do have that "Bulky" A they use with the elephant through it dont they?

We used this one for a few years..
This is the one we use now, which I have no problem with. Looks better than the elephant, IMO...

Freom that elephant logo, it looks like Bama attempted to take the same route that LSU did and market a cartoon like mascot/logo. 
At least yall got back on the right track and went to a classic looking logo.
