15 years and still not anywhere close.

I was being generous by giving you the benefit of the last 9 years of Phillip Fulmer's tenure... 27 of those 35 wins have occurred since 2009 when Lane Kiffin took over.

At that rate, LSU will surpass UT before I'm finished paying off my car.

Yeah not really. We wouldn't be in the conversation as a top 15 program in CFB history if that were the case.

LSU's program was a pile of dog shite before Saban.

Leave it to a Vol to use the words "shite" and "golden" in the same sentence... I'm sure by now they're comfortable to having to turn one into the other.

Good luck in your upcoming 7-win season, sir.

The 90's were horrendous for LSU. There is nothing to compare them to in the history of the program. While we weren't Alabama before that, we weren't chopped shite either.

You can act like LSU is Boise State but you're just completely wrong, really.

Typical.

Lose the documented history argument and turn to future fairy tale land.

LSU better find a QB for future fairy tale land or your quest to catch UT in the all-time record books will hit a snag.

A top-15 program all-time really doesnt require that much. A&M is usually found 16-18th on such lists and we've essentially had two good 10-15 year runs in our entire history unless you go back to the teens and 20s. In 2000, the A&M and LSU programs were very similar historically in terms of wins, conference and national titles, Heisman winners, AAs, etc.

There just arent that many programs that have consistently been good across the decades.

I know you're not trying to troll or anything, but factually 4/11 SEC titles and 2/4 national titles is not an "overwhelming majority" of LSU's success. It simply isn't.

LSU was great in the 30s and 50s, and had won a couple conference titles in the late 80s. However from 1962 to 2000, they only won three conference championships had missed out on a bowl game 19 times.

Technically true, but when we consider that a lot of those SEC title came before Dwight Eisenhower was out of office....well

You are incorrect Sir.
LSU was the 8th best team of the 1940s.
LSU was the 6th best team in the 1960s.
LSU was the 14th best team of the 1970s.
Even in the 90's at our absolute worst we managed a 10 win season.
But don't let that stop your False Narrative.

Dam, how is that even possible?? 77 points in 3 quarters would be tough if there were no defense playing....which pretty much appears to be the case.

It was SO BAD, Bob was coaching our players to seek out tacklers by the middle of the 3rd quarter and threatening them with disciplinary action if they scored again. WE actually got in trouble for that game for running up the score when anybody watching the game could clearly see we were literally throwing ourselves to the ground after halftime with our 2s and 3s. Look how red-assed they still are about it tho. LOL!!!!
