however, we have had 2 undefeated seasons, and had a 33 game unbeaten streak. for many many years there were only 9 game regular seasons. not sure why the teams that are currently getting their arse kicked by the Rebels with alarming regularity lately wish to harp on this, but it is what it is, I reckon.

Zip up your fly, your insecurity is showing.

There are 4 body bag games a year for ole miss--though they've shown they can't even beat Memphis.

Their permanent cross division rival is Vanderbilt. That's 5 wins automatically, or it should be. So basically to win 10 regular season games, you have to beat State, Arkansas, Auburn, tamu, and another team from the east.

Yet ole miss has never been able to accomplish this, even in Hugh Freeze's golden era when LSU is down and the east is a dumpster fire.

Don't understand how any black recruit could go to ole miss even with illegal benefits.

There's no denying it: either these athletes don't know history, or don't care that they are playing for Jim Crow.

Either way, Ole Miss is paying top dollar to keep this truth from their awareness. Talk about fool's gold

Reading a few threads this morning about LSU and it makes me wonder how a team can recruit so well yet consistently put out a team on par with Tennessee and Mississippi State.

you made legit points until you said Tennessee and MissSt.

Well I only went back to 1960 but even then teams were playing 10 regular season games. I know thats only 50 or so years ago so I actually agree with you, how could anyone who understands college football and knows the history of the SEC and Ole Miss expect OM to win 10 games in a regular season once in just 50 or so years?

I mean jesus give them a little time to get their program established before you start heaping all of these unrealistic expectations on them!!!

Atleast we are still group with teams that have made it to Atlanta.

If we had fallen to the likes of Vandy, Kentucky, and Ole Miss I would be despondent.

Well it's been a few years for lsu so I guess that means you're despondent.

We opened 2014 against Boise state. Not a powerhouse but a hell of a lot better than Troy. Next year we open with fsu.

Wait, you don't care that it's been so long? Really?

Just obsessing a little bit this morning.

I get it, I do. In the olden days, Ole Miss would have hung multiple banners to celebrate all of the almosts and could've beens of the 2015 season. But with Freeze channeling all that banner funding into, ahem, "other areas", the Louisiana Black Bear fans of the University of Mississippi are in a sort of limbo. Starting shitty threads isn't the long term answer, but we understand, brother. And all is forgiven.

Remember when Bo Wallace ran off of our field like a punk bitch before the game ended? Good times... oh and 11-4 against Ole Miss since 2000... so LSU pretty much has been owning that Ole miss arse.

Granted .. Ole Miss beat us where it really matters .. on the score board, but curb stomp??

LSU had:
More Rushing Yards.
More Passing Yards.
More Total Yards.
More TOP.

LSU also threw a couple interceptions.

Yes, you won big on the score board, but curb stomp .. nah.

les is not a bad coach but he has definitely held the program back with some of his quirks and shortcomings, namely his stubborness and loyalty which even he has admitted to
