The rest of the country is maaaad. We should have seen this coming. You don't win 7 national championships in a row without making enemies. They tried to get it done on the field and couldn't so they stopped the presses.

Gotta agree. If I was a fan outside the SEC, I would be sick of us.

we will be hated for decades here on out, even if the SEC doesn't win another title in a 100 years

What's going to be hilarious is when the schools involved in this mess end up ducking major violations and a SEC school still wins another mNC.

Outside of not being about to beat SEC schools in bowl games, I can see why people hate SEC schools. Some reasons from what I've learned over the years:
1. Assumptions that SEC schools cheat, over recruit and are labeled as $EC.
2. SEC monikers. SEC defense. SEC hit. SEC speed. SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC SEC.
3. Conference loyalty. If Bama wins a national title, that doesn't mean Ole Miss won a national title. If you claim to be rivals, don't stick up for each other. I would pray that LSU, Tenn and Auburn fans are bitter over Bama success. However, in some regard I understand conference loyalty in regards playing in OOC games and bowl season.
4. If a SEC team loses a bowl game or a non conference game the whatever card is played. Georgia wasn't really a top 5 team. O LSU lost the Chick-A-Fila Bowl, they didn't wanna be there anyway. O Michigan State beat Georgia in the Capital One Bowl, Georgia was the SEC 4th best team. Whatever you can have that win. Any derivative of these replies are valid reasons for hate. If you lose, own it.
5. ESPN BJ over the SEC.
6. SEC fans think football started in 2007
I'm sure there are more reasons but these are some of the ones that come to mind. If you ask fans outside of the SEC, some variation of such is likely to be stated. Lastly, I don't think the seven straight titles play much into it as the other factors.
Personally, I don't care about the hype or fatigue. The SEC plays good football and is the best in NCAAF now. I harbor no hate and favor all SEC teams but one. I'm also huge fan of UGA and LSU and love their style of football and tradition.
