"He has an affinity like me for trying to read a book. His goal is one every two weeks. He writes poetry, which I do not. He left Twitter, which I did not, though I thought about it over the last year. Refrained from social media because he said this, 'Getting better as a person, football player and leader is how I want to spend my time.'”

Greg Sankey's comments on Myles Garrett.

Sumlin runs a tight ship despite what the inevitable detractors will say.

Maybe he should stop padding stats against Rice, Lamar, South Carolina and Nevada

As I live in College Station,
I'm the best in the nation.
The fans will rave us
but I wish LSU could pay Chavis
To the quarterback I glide
why the hell can't we beat the Tide

Or not...

The production he's compiled to date has warranted him consideration for next year's 1st pick in the NFL draft.

Who are you trying to fool with this statement, when you own Coach is caught on camera drunk in a bar and scouting for skank.

Then we come to Speedy......

Now I lay a Qb down to rest
Until I meet an Ol with some chest

I look so pretty in some pads
Unless it's running downs they make me sad

Maybe this year I'll make a tackle on fournette
Probably not who wants to Bette?

He sacked your qb, intercepted your qb and made your dope head left tackle look like a school yard bitch.

The Commish also praised 10-11 other SEC athletes, Garrett being only one. A tight ship? Yea, Sumlin really taught Johnny Football a lot of life's lessons while keeping HIM under control.
