How do you see the SEC Bowls shaking out here in a few weeks?
Will the SEC be able to fill all of its tie ins?
I'm thinking the SEC is going to get 10, but not the full 11 teams Bowl eligible. Indy is not going to be filled.
I'm thinking
BCSCHamp: Bama
Sugar/Fiesta: UF
Cap One: UGA
Cotton: aTm
Outback: Scar
CFA: LSU
Gator: OM
Liberty: MSU
Music City: Tenn
BBVA Compass: Vandy
Indy: Empty
I think UF wins out, UGA loses in SECCG, Cotton jumps on a aTm/BigXII game, and OM wins the Egg Bowl. Thoughts?

I think Florida loses to FSU and LSU will go Sugar

Even if they did we would still have 8 wins (counting Arky as a win) and they would have 7. So the Gator would take State, especially after how we traveled in 2010. You obviously didn't think this one out.

Or... Wilson is going to get Arky that W, and if OM wins the Egg Bowl they both have 7 wins and OM is the one coming off a win with a fired up fan base?

eh. Ole Miss has more national appeal than State and would travel much better than State would.

FWIW, Egg Bowl is a tossup this year.

I would normally agree, but the board of the Gator Bowl was extremely happy the way we traveled and said they would gladly give us a bid the next time available.

Mississippi State travels extremely well to bowl games.

So you see Ole Miss beating Vandy, LSU, and Mississippi State to go to the Gator Bowl?
With so many bowl eligible teams I dont see OM going to the Gator, they are more likely to go to the Music City IMO

even if MSU gets to 8 with the win over Arkansas, in the world where OM wins the Egg Bowl the OM fanbase would have much more energy and desire to travel at that point.
I could easily be wrong, MSU wins both games, and they are a no brianer for the Gator Bowl.
if MSU finishes 1-4 and loses the rivalry game at the end of the season, they will not be an overly attractive team to the bowls IMO.

We'll see, if State goes 1-2 the next 3 games I still see us going to the Gator.
