The reason UK will win the SEC again is because of talent. Outside of Stokes we do not have elite talent on our roster. Golden and Maymon are very good college players, but not Kentucky good. I think next year we will have some elite talent, but the only way I see anyone beating UK the way they're going is if somebody can get 3-4 NBA guys and keep them together a few years.

1. Fla/UK
2. Tenn
3. Ark
4. Everyone else (including Mizzou)

I guarantee Ark finishes ahead of Mizzou

UK lost most everything last year... didn't you guys break a record for most players taken in an NBA draft?

We have almost every year Cal has been at UK. And he's never done worse then an Elite Eight as a result.

I thought this class was weaker than the last two?

Tennessee could easily finish ahead of Missouri. Tennessee has a decided advantage over every team in this league in the front-court with the exception of Kentucky.

Outside of Brown, none of Mizzou's transfers really scare me. I think they will be good, but they are not much different from us, UF, Arky, or Bama imo.

And still better then most of what anyone else is bringing in. A lot of people didn't thought Davis and Co. would be deep enough.

I see this UK team as more similar to Cal's 2nd team than last year's team results wise.

More of an 11-12 win team in the league.

I'm not sure who will win it next year, but if you think the team that mizzou will put on the floor doesn't stack up you don't know basketball. UK will be young and i think they would have beat FL this year. but we will see. tenn and ark will not finish ahead of MO.

I stand by my statement because SEC Basketball, especially SEC BB on the road, is underrated every year. You're not recooping talent at UK's rate. And I don't think you beat out Florida who only loses Beal from an Elite Eight squad (farther then your BEST talent got I might add). Tennessee and Stokes have untapped potential. Grant has potential to get Bama in gear without headcases running the show (the talent has been there).

So yes, 3rd at best.

you have to look at MO transfers as a recruiting class, they are bringing in proven D1 talent, and if Bowers is at a 100% with pressey and dixon at the guard position they will be hard to deal with

I doubt we beat Kentucky, but second place certainly wouldn't surprise me, we have a talented team.

UF lost Erving Walker and Billy did not bring in a big time forward recruit. I still don't know why Billy has problems recruiting Big men. Except for Beal, all former Gators in the NBA are forwards.

He still has Young and Co. Walker's taco stealing arse may be addition by subtraction for them.

Probably Scottie starting at PG. He doesn't turn it over as much as Walker, but he doesn't have Walker's explosiveness either. I doubt he starts Ogbueze as a freshmen.

Telling you though, look out when Kasey Hill gets on campus. Hes a BEAST.

Oh, and if the Mizzou guy is seriously saying this year's UK team is vulnerable because they're young, you're just dumb.

UK won a NC with Teague, MKG, Davis, and Wiltjer all playing major minutes as freshmen. Mizzou would've been blown off the floor by UK had they met in the tourney.

Underestimating oriakhi id say. The kid averaged 12 and 8 on a natty championship uconn squad. I'd also say Keon bell the transfer from pepperdine knows how to score but he is stepping up like 10 levels in talent.

Stokes at UT and Young at UF will end up better than Oriakhi. He won't get the leeway under the basket he did by officials in Big East play.

Stokes abused Oriakhi last year before attending a single college class.

+1, and if we're not in the top 4 or so I'll be disappointed.

We'll see what we get there, of course, but with Pressey, Dixon and Bowers, plus Oriahki, Brown, Bell, etc... I think we have a very good team. Remember, some analysts felt that Mizzou's best players last year were on eh bench due to transfers. Remains to be seen. Looking forward to it!!

Kentucky...stacked.

MIZ, UF, UT. Fight for second place.

MIZ has a lot of transfers, will be interesting to see how they all mesh. Could be a dominant team, could be meh.

One thing for certain, Suitcase Mike Anderson gets what's coming to him from MIZ until Arky cans his gimmicky arse. Dude will never recruit the size he needs.
