I think it's going to be a very competitive match with Florida with a bit of momentum and Kentucky struggling a little bit lately.

If Kentucky is on fire, we're screwed, but we just have to try and match that.

Discuss.

If Georgia can almost beat them, the Gators certainly can.

Go Gators.

At Florida? I'll just be happy if the damn Banshee isn't sitting next to the camera in the rafters.

Georgia almost beat us. Albeit, I think that was the beginning of our "bad" week. Since we followed it up with that showing at South Carolina when we couldn't hit a 3 (and the refs were just obnoxious in that game with how many fouls were called on both sides -- killing any momentum for either team), and then lose to Vandy at home. Good bounce back by destroying 3 shitty teams, but at least we didn't let up, which is the one positive to take away from the past 3 games.

Kentucky could come here and stomp us if we're not careful. If we go on the defensive lulls that we do each game versus them, they could go on a 10-15 point streak in a heartbeat, which scares the shite out of me.

I can't get a good read on Kentucky this year. When we played them we started out the game without one of our best players and without a couple of key reserves. But they seem to be very vulnerable if forced to slow down the pace

Kentucky plays exactly like Auburn except with ridiculously more talent

When things get tough our guys play selfish, don't run the offense and are lost on defense. Then they try to win it themselves and be the hero. Some games Monk goes 7-9 3FG in 2nd half while others they miss (Kansas/TN)

The difference is U.K. Doesn't have nearly as many "tough" moments because their selfish hero ball is good enough to win 90% of games

Lol what? Pearl runs a flex offense. Calipari runs a dribble drive motion offense. Bruce Pearl's teams also press a lot more on defense.

It seems like Kentucky lumbers along and then plays lights out against Florida every time they play.

I'll pull for the gaytors because if they win, we become #1 in the conference standings going into the back half of the season.

If a 18-4 UK records equals marquee matchup, the SEC really is pitiful.

I posted in the other thread that UK has not played well lately but the UGA game Tuesday night may have bolstered the confidence of some of the role players even though it was just about all Monk and Briscoe.

I will go out on a limb here and say that UF will not make 11 threes in the first half like they did against LSU. If anything close to that happens Cal will get arrested for player abuse.

I hope Monk goes ballistic again like he did against UGA! He is a thrill to watch when he is hot. BTW, Cal got on his arse for not shooting enough against Kansas and wahlah! next game he goes for 37.
