With baseball a month away( thank you Jesus) what is your take on your team?
MSU ranked 11th & 15th. It seems like a favorable ranking. The team made a lot of progress over summer and fall ball.

Pitching will be our strength. Unless we find some offense it is going to be tough to make it to Omaha

LSU may have the best pitching staff, but the worst hitting in recent years.
Returns more weekend starters than fielders.

Well, given the fact that LSU dominated baseball like no other sport, I say we make it to Omaha and choke again. We have 7 or 8 guys to replace on offense but they will be replaced by 5 star recruits so I'm not worried. We also have the best pitcher in the SEC coming back.

LSU's pitching staff will be legit, but I am concerned about replacing almost all of the position players. Hard to replace Bregman at SS, but rumor has it that there are a couple of outfielders that can play the positions as good as Laird, and Stevenson, but i am not sold on that just yet. Papierski is rumored to really have turned the corner at the plate, but if we can score 3-4 runs/game, I like our chances. Cant wait for the season to start!

Well we beat you last year so there's that.
Holy crap, we close the season in red stick. I my have to go to that. Been wanting to check out the new Box. Should be a great atmosphere! Sux that we didn't play a series last year.

State is gonna have major upgrade. I seen the virtual tour. There is not gonna be another college ballpark that will compare to it.

Pitching will definitely be our strength. I kept up with the fall ball stats and they were pretty dismal. Blind optimism hopes that it's just because they were hitting off of our good pitching. By the way the Florida posters aren't lying. They are stacked.
