I've always wondered why they didn't rotate the SEC baseball tournament site. Although Hoover isn't too far, they should rotate it to give fans who don't live close the chance to see some baseball every year, even if their team isn't in it.

What would be some good places?

considering SEC folks are supposed to be big baseball fans, that would make sense.

here are two places that would be good sites IMO:

Springfield, MO LINK
Louisville, KY LINK

Birmingham is building a new state of the art minor league park downtown. I wonder if the the tourney will be moved there or kept in Hoover?

I don't know. I would assume most of the cities we are talking about have minor league parks where this could be played.

I guess it would be kind of cool to rotate it to different venues, but they got a good thing going in Hoover.

Also, NOLA wouldn't be as good a host for it as it may seem. We can do football and basketball stuff better because of the location of the venues.

Baseball would have to happen out in Metairie, far away from down town NOLA, and in the middle of some of the worst traffic in the area.
