I see why they put Missouri in the east now.

Baseball RPI has absolutely no bearing until at least a month into the season.

Is that correct - or is that a joke?

Because I would just about be willing to wager a bet that, that is the lowest RPI in the history of any SEC team ever in the history of the conference.

Not cool. Not cool at all.

Has there ever been an SEC program rated below a 150 on any RPI scale? I can ask Boyd, but I kind of doubt there has been.

seems as if the east is sucking again. sans usc, the east is embarassing in baseball. florida and georgia are way underperforming. florida is an out and out embarassment to the sec in baseball.

Mississippi State plays none of the above.

Hogs preseason #1 could end up 4th in the west
MSU and Ole Miss look very impressive so far, Cohen may get that elusive title before he's done, thank God they didn't listen to Polk when they hired him.
LSU hitting will be much better than last year, pitching still needs to find some roles but has potential (won't be as good as last year but will be adequate enough) but could cost LSU at the end like the hitting did last year.

Meh only UF is the surprise.

We all knew Mizzou would suck, UT is just now putting some effort into making it's baseball program decent again, and well UGA just sucks.

As for East gonna East.. well that may be true in a historical context (sans SC) but considering the East had 3 of the final 4 teams in Omaha just 2 short years ago..

Was UF expected to be as good as they were last year?

PG had them ranked at #7.

Both UF & UGA have had surprisingly bad Februarys.

I think we were ranked too high based on all the talent we lost last year. SC, Vandy and UK will be strong this year. There is nothing weak about the East. The West is stacked though.

The country can't even handle a hobbled Arkansas lineup. Can't wait till a healthy Hogs team takes the field. 26-4 conference record as predicted.
