Just obvious

Pitcher of the Year: Sean Hjelle - Kentucky

Fair. I might go with Tj Sikkema, I'm probably the only one. It was a surprisingly down year for ace pitchers.

Another obvious one

Scholar Athlete of the Year: Zach Logue – Kentucky

okay...?

quote:

Coach of the Year: Nick Mingione - Kentucky

This really was close 3 weeks ago, but at seasons end this is the right answer.

The next 2-3 years should be good.

Awesome. The kid has been fantastic. And yes, he's even skinnier in person than he looks on TV.

I think this could've easily been a toss up between a few coaches in conference. Glad to see Mingione get it but would've been ok with Cannizaro or Thompson as well.

Cannizaro did a great job, but the end of the year collapse gives UK coach the edge. They were decimated all year so I think he did about as he could have considering.

3 LSU freshman All SEC, looks good...just gotta get some big time pitchers this next cycle, and MORE LEFTIES PAWL!

almost wish they could have given 3 coaches co-titles for that. What Andy Cannizzaro and Butch Thompson were able to accomplish was outstanding, regardless of how their teams finished.

Yeah, obviously I wanted Cannizaro to get it especially with our injuries, but I'm fine with Mingione and would've been fine with Thompson.

I think this might have been Van Horn's best coaching job too considering we lost two weekend starting pitchers before the season started
