Spoiler alert: This will be another LSU/aTM Chavis-based shite slinging thread.

This applies to pretty much any thread. No one can mention any other school in their post without being accused of being "(fill in team name)-SESSED!" or "All (fill in team name) ALL THE TIME"

Here we are: the lurking powerhouse in the SEC. The Aggies have now paired Kevin Sumlin, who many seem to have forgotten was the preeminent genius offensive mind in the conference less than two years ago, with John Chavis, one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation. The Aggies have recruited well enough to thrust themselves into the conversation in the West, and their reputation should only climb with Chavis directing the defense. On top of that, the Aggies have more or less exclusive SEC rights to the fertile recruiting grounds of Texas.

Someone should have told that to LSU's staff, they get just about anyone they want from Texas

Bama takes over LA so LSU takes over Texas?

I can believe it.

Bama's big 2014 in Louisiana is hardly "taking over." LSU routinely goes in to Texas and gets top recruits and has been for years.

Lol. Give them time. They don't know A&M are historical failures and underachievers yet. They will sooner than later.

Good article.

Topic of Major contenders in West.

Big 3 plus or minus the texas team.

All others get to the back of the line.

Arkansas is going to be a pain in the arse and Ole Miss is always good for 1 or 2 years of fricking with their fan base but otherwise it'll be the usual suspects of LSU, Bama and Auburn fighting for the top spot in the West.

SEC has a lot to learn about A&M, they never live up to hype and never do much of anything.

I really don't know why the media buys so much into the cult of atm. The only explanation I can come up with is that most of the media are morons.

They are still the little brother in Texas.

They are surrounded by schools that are superior to them historically like Texas, Oklahoma, and LSU

They are beyond weird. Easily the weirdest school in the entire SEC and probably the weirdest in all of college football

I have never been, but I have always heard their campus is uglier than frick

The media is distracted by shiny objects. A&M is a pretty fricking shiny object right now. They'll learn.

And I suppose LSU taking: Josh Williford, Ken Adams, Kwon Alexander, Stephen Rivers, Connor Neighbors, Logan Stokes etc. out of ALABAMA, just like....never happened ?
How about 4 star Sidell Corley from Mobile, DB Chevis Jacskon (now in NFL), #1 pick Jamarcus Russell, also from Mobile, and TE J.D. Lott, all also from Alabama ???????????

Also, Louisiana easily has one of the top 3 recruiting bases per capita in the entire country, in addition to the rest of the Southeast, Texas and some nationally that LSU signs.........
