Alabama's defense has scored 56 pts through 8 games, is that factored into those numbers?
Through 7 games, LSU's defense and special teams have scored 2 touchdowns, which are factored into the numbers.

You're right, I changed what I meant to say their. The prior stats do still have. Meant but if LSU's offense has improved considerably than that portion of the stats prior will have minimal meaning towards projecting the outcome.
By the way I gave extremely high praise to the LSU defense.

You should try rerunning those numbers with LSU's last three games, because the first four are now irrelevant.
Did you change defensive coordinators?

we now have aggies posting stats about a game they are not involved in and is 2 weeks away.
The obsession with LSU continues, carry on

So, what we can gather from this is that Bama's offense is better, but LSU's defense is better?
Good to know.

Nice response thread
As I stated in the other thread:
If you would like to exclude Kentucky (Alabama's worst defensively ranked opponent), their average opponent defense rank is #65... which is still 10 ranks lower than LSU's #54...
How has LSU done with Coach O as coach?
LSU vs Missouri:
- Missouri offense: #35 (34.9 ppg)... LSU held them to 7 (-28)
- Missouri defense: #80 (29.7 ppg)... LSU scored 42 (+13)
LSU vs Southern Miss:
- USM offense: #29 (36 ppg)... LSU held them to 10 (-26)
- USM defense: #79 (29.6 ppg)... LSU scored 45 (+16)
LSU vs Ole Miss:
- OM offense: #25 (37 ppg)... LSU held them to 21 (-16)
- OM defense: #89 (31.4 ppg)... LSU scored 38 (+7)
*and all those numbers are after LSU gave them their worst games offensively and defensively*
But you stay focused on those first few games

He is saying that to try and copy another poster (harmonics), who kept saying "scared" the other night.
He claims I am the worst poster on here because when I post facts and numbers I am "trolling" ...
Bama fans don't like substance in arguments.

Does this account for all of Bama's D TD's?
Serious question. If LSU doesn't turn it over, how would the numbers play out?

NMST Aggies had a better record than TAM Aggies every year from 1959-1974?

We were pretty shitty in those years.

prior stats certainly matter. They just include 2 teams that have vastly superior defenses than anything Bama has faced, to this point.
I don't care what the stats say about their defense. Any solid team should destroy it. Just like Alabama did last year with early season Coker. And Wisconsin's defense was better last year.

Can't deny these stats, but for you go back to 2014, I'm sure those stats would predict a bigger Alabama win than this year and we took them to OT that year. No doubt Bama has played better this year and are just the better team. But, this doesn't mean LSU can't come out and play inspired football under the lights. Believe it or not, I feel like both teams look at this game as a bit of a rivalry. Not the Bama/Auburn hate rivalry, but the type of game they know they have to bring their A game to. IMO anything can happen. Bama may come out and beat us by 30 or LSU may pull off a last second field goal. I feel like you can throw the stats out the window when it comes down to this game under the lights in Death Valley.
