As I posted previously - still a criminal offense (and yes, under FL law, you are charged with grand theft if you purchased stolen goods worth >$300, even if you had no connection to the actual crime itself).

But, just like posters "know" AU paid Cam to sign with us, they "know" he was the actual thief.

Still. In. Your. Heads.

Newton knew what he was doing and he's damn lucky that he was a highly recruited athlete bc if he were any other average student he would not have gotten out of it.

Cam Robinson approves this message.

Its been 6 years, let it go. Auburn won a natty with Cam fair and square.

You Aubies keep telling yourselves that. Maybe one day you'll actually believe it.

It amazes me how much Cam rustled the entire SEC Oh, and as for the very sad Bama fans who STILL have links to articles and what not trying to "prove" your point, that is the most little bro thing I think I have seen.

Every school that's been put on probation, the NCAA had, shall we say...questionable proof.

"It is the committees belief" How David Swank started his assessment of every one of our penalties. He said nothing about having proof.

So you're saying the NCAA couldn't even find questionable proof?

The NCAA doesn't require "proof", but criminal courts do
quote:

Lynn Lang was sentenced to two years supervised probation and 500 hours community service and fined $2,500 on a guilty plea of conspiring to get defensive lineman Albert Means to sign with the Alabama football team in 2000.

Lang, former head coach at Trezevant High in Memphis, said he took $150,000 from wealthy businessman Logan Young to make sure Means went to Alabama.

Lang was required to amend his income tax returns, however, and told the court he still owes the IRS more than $60,000 he is paying off in installments.
Please let me know when the IRS comes after Cecil Newton for not paying taxes on the $200k we paid for his son to sign with AU.

Until then....
