Panthers quarterback Cam Newton on all the rumors going around about the reason he was suspended for the first series of Sunday's game:

Stealing a laptop and thinking it's ok and throwing it out the window thinking no one would find out. Then accepting at least $200k from a booster to attend Auburn.
And he's never thought he's been above the law?
Color me surprised.

Not a law per se, but it's against the rules. "Above the rules" is not the term people use.

Cam is a beast!
Never disliked him at auburn and like carolina cam now.
Amazing talent. He's stayed loyal to the barn as well. Aubie has little else, leave cam alone.
