Southern Cal needs to pick an acronym. They can't have both. It's really confusing right now. I'd say they keep USC and release SC to South Carolina. Then I guess Sportscenter will get pissed

Don't forget locals call South Carolina "Carolina", when everyone else refers to North Carolina as "Carolina".

I refer to the Gamecocks as Carolina. Unless we're talking basketball. The context usually make it clear which Carolina we are talking about.
USC and SC mean the Trojans to most people who don't live in Carolina.
I think you should blame the people of the Carolinas for dividing themselves into separate colonies.

I don't get why this is such a big deal to only these two schools. It's not like all the OSU's, MSU's, UT's, UA's, UM's, etc. go through this.
