Really enjoyed it, and it was a very spiritual movie for me (due to all of the Bear Bryant appearances and references to Alabama football). But seriously it is worth seeing for if you're an Alabama fan, but SEC football fans in general. Was cool to see how a movement that started in a small Birmingham school and a rivalry between two local players (Tony Nathan and Jeff Ruttledge) culminated at the national level when they both played for Bear Bryant and won a national championship together against Penn State.

Also, the rival coach (Shorty White) probably has the best maniacal villain laugh I've ever heard in a movie and was worth the price of admission alone

Does it have a lot of Bama? The trailer makes it seem like the highschool is the mjority of the film.

I doubt that I will see it. Trailer looked terrible and way too preachy.

It is mostly the high school, but there is enough of Bama references intermittent and a few scenes at the end that I appreciated it.

It's got a lot of Jesus in it, but it didn't seem preachy to me. I loved the parts with Bear Bryant. Gave me a whole new perspective on the man. Awesome movie.

Yep. Jon Voigt studied up and actually played a very good Bear Bryant. Got his grovelling speech and facial expressions down perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised.

Was a very good movie. Any football fan would enjoy and take different things away from it. Thought there was some very good acting and Caleb does an incredible job portraying Tony Nathan.

If you watch and dont get chill bumps at some point throughout the movie you probably dont have a pulse.
