Seems like a cool guy, and not just cuz he gave JFF props. Very down to earth. Y'all have a good'un, LSU fans

Cool vid...would have been better if the guy doing the interview asked Sam what Manziel's true last name was....

Sam has:

Hugged a ref

Beat the ground between plays playing Oregon

Wiped Mingo's mouth like he was a child after a sack

When Rueben Randle was being interviewed he jumped in to ask a question and got Randle to smile.

The guy is a character on and off the field. We will miss him next year. He and Shepard will be great ambassadors for the University in the future. I could see Shepard becoming a Coach as well.

Big props to Sam Montgomery, especially when put in context against all-everything Barrett Jones' stupid comments.

I'd add won the Auburn game single handily this year from his halftime speech.

'Just follow me and do what I do out there.......' something like that.

Great fricking player.

Sam had my respect after he played us. He told reporters after something to the effect "people think A&M is a finesse team. A&M is NOT a finesse team!"

Dude is so comfortable with himself and his skills he has no problem dishing out honest praise to his opponents. Rare to see that.

Right now JFF is:
27th rated QB at 151.2
20th total passing yards at 2,780
25th total rushing yards at 1,014...this is the RB column
His total yards is 3,794, 380 total yards a game. With Sam Houston and Missouri that average will probably go up.

The Heisman is for the best player in CFB. Not for the best player on the best team.

See: Baylor 2011.

Collin is much more developed, and he is THE team leader at K-State. he is bigger, stronger, and overall a better player at this point than is Johnnie Football. Klein has his team undefeated, ranked #1 in the nation, and on the verge of a bcs title game appearance.

He's played one team with a pulse.

I shite on Klein; all over him .

Also second freshman with 2k passing and 1l rushing. 1st freshman QB in 40 years to beat number 1 on the road. Breaks conference records on the 'reg.

No one knew his name in August.

Will pass for more than Cam '10 and run for more than '07 Tebow.

Heizman isn't a team-based award. It is an indiviual performance award.
