Saban statue?

Anybody know why it hasn't been erected yet? I thought it was supposed to go up last year?

I think Auburn has more of a reason to build a Chizik statue myself.

Mrs Saban said on the radio the other day that it will go up A game week-end. When it didn't go up before the season last year, we knew it wouldn't be put up during the season. Saban was not going to take time from practice to go over there and take part in a ceremony, and if he can't be there why do it. The man didn't even go to the premiere of the "Game Changer" movie, because he had practice.

If Auburn gave their National Championship coaches a statue, they would have two statues with only two dates. It would be emabarrassing. I doubt they would do that.

Giving a coach a statue after three years is embarrasing. You dont see LSU doing that crap.

I thought someone had posted that they had to cut the Quikcrete order in half because too much was sent originally. They didn't realize that Saban was 5 instead of 6 feet.

gotta buddy who works witihin the Bammer organization as an intern FWIW said that ole man saban saw the statue and twice didn't like it and sent it back to be redone. was supposed to go up for A day last year, then yall's first game, then somehow it got messed up for homecoming too.
