If you win a NC at Bama, you get a statue in front of the stadium. Bryant, Stallings, Wade, and Thomas all have one. If Saban had won a NC in his first year or his 10th they would have built a statue of him. That being said, they should wait until he retires to put it up IMO.

I can only imagine what LSU fans will do to that statue the next time LSu plays at Alabama

All our National Championship coaches have a statue. There is already a place right next to Coach Stallings' statue.

Build the man a damn statue i dont care, but wait till he at least retires. This seems a bit premature IMO.

Whether he snaps or not, he deserves a statue because he won a national championship

Unlike LSU, Bama doesn't burn their national championship coaches in effigy; they build statues of them.

Do you think he requests that they make him as tall as the next shortest statue?

Will it be to at the same scale as the other statues, or will they give him some added height?

Maybe Saban standing on a stool?

Didn't LSU build him a city called Sabanville on the other side of the railroad tracks after he won a nc?

Does the University of Alabama have any statues of Academic Accomplishments by students or professors? It is a University, right?
