“And we ask our players, aight, to play for 60 minutes in the game, but yet I’m looking in the stands -- now this never used to be this way -- and the place is half empty by the time we get to the fourth quarter. So, why should the players play for 60 minutes if you’re not willing to stay committed to be a part of the team.
“You all want to be a part of the team when we win. Why don’t you stay committed for 60 minutes and stay there and support the players who are doing a hell of a lot more and working a lot harder to try to satisfy you and what you want than anything that you’re doing by staying at the game for a whole game?"
LOVE IT! We ask Players to give it their ALL for 60 minutes - why not the lazy a** Fans?

He's 100% right, but I'd like to see him also address the networks and ask them why it now takes 4.5 hours to play "60 minutes"...

I’ll bite. Fans leave early at these games because they are glorified scrimmages that for all intents and purposes are over shortly after half time. Additionally, the outcome is pretty much pre determined.
The pagentry at the beginning of the game and leading up to are fun as hell. The game actually blows donkey dick, Nick.
So pumped to go sit in 90 degree heat to watch Troy.
This la la land old school nostalgia of how things used to be is getting OLD. new technology and cost have created a new tradition Nick, it’s called people don’t give a shite about you or LSU beating up on below inferior opponents.

When you have Saban coaching your team, you have no valid excuse to not stay.
He is very meticulous and elite in all the details.

Its because students now days are too worried about being "lit" and listening to the new "mumble rap" CD. Forreal, I've noticed that high schoolers and college kids just dont like football. It makes me mad as frick.

Lsu's culture died with boring football and rampid rising prices all at the same time. Like a perfect storm. Then the AD hired "one of us" and I would of made fun of any other program that would if done the same. Gonna take a pretty big personality and winner to bring it back

The constant TV timeouts and commercials have slowed the game to a crawl. There is no reason to take 1 hour to play each 15 min quarter, beside selling the two university's souls for a buck.
