I must say I hope, with all my heart that if anything like CamGate were to ever, in the future of our program come up, that our Administration (Saban/Moore/Witt) would (of their own accord) choose to sit the player regardless of what the SEC or NCAA decided to do.

You never know what choices will be made until a program is faced we such adversity.

Good Post.

Have fun staying on probation until 2014. That will be 21 straight years. Congrats.

I think it has already been established saban has a sit first mentality, just look at Andre for example. It would have been very easy to play him and then have your lawyers tell him to go on record saying he knew nothing about his families connection with an agent.

Yea Saban is a strict disciplinarian that only lets a player come back from suspensions if he is losing to UL Monroe in the first half.

I hate to tell you tigger, but auburn fans just lost every right you ever thought you had to talk down to bama fans in relation to ethics in the world of athletics. the national perception of auburn university is you have sold your soul for a few championships.... hope you enjoy them.

You lost yours well before today so how do you have the right to do the same?

I hate to tell you slim, but we haven't been found guilty of anything. What will you say if nothing ever happens to Auburn?

Our compliance department, if anything, is a pain in the arse. As they should be considering our RECENT history.

Hell they even have their own commercial at the stadium now.

We'll see. I obvsiously disagree. It pains me to say it, but we're not USC, people for the most part nationally don't care about us.

that you bought a crystal football for $180,000. you know, the same thing the rest of the college football world will say for the next 30 years when this season gets mentioned by aubbies. but like I said, enjoy your championships.

If we aren't guilty then it will only be the bammers crying. If we are guilty then give us hell like we deserve.

I've got news for you man. Auburn is a big story right now.

They are an undefeated SEC team. They have the best player in the country.

Nationally, whether nothing comes of this or not, perception is going to be that Auburn bought and paid for a trophy.

I don't think anyone with a brain is depending on the word of the NCAA to determine if your guilty after yesterdays shadiness

Couldn't agree more with you. But now is the operative word. Like i say in a couple years, nationally it's forgotten.

So what would it take for you to believe that AU was innocent?

Good Post.

This is the kind of irony that actually threatens the very integrity of the fricking fabric of space-time by its mere existence.

And Auburn has never had the right to talk down to Alabama about ethics and cheating considering the fact that there has never been a period in history where Alabama has had as many major infractions as Auburn.

1) Cam wants to go to MSU
2) Cam lets Cecil decide his destination
3) Cecil wants $180,000
4) MSU says no
5) Auburn mysteriously enters picture
6) Cam visits AU without Cecil
7) Cecil magically decides auburn (without even visiting the school) is the best place for his son. Going against the wishes of his son.
8) Cam calls Miss. St. recruiter and says "the money was too much". - and yes, unlike the ncaa, i believe a coach more than I do the newtons on that quote.

so given those facts I will never believe Auburn didn't pay for Cam.
