Saban is still lying

UA center Barrett Jones said he'd had LSU on his mind for a while now. "It's the game we circle on our schedule every year," he said. "It's been hard for us to not think about it, honestly, until now. We're kind of almost relieved we can address it."

Go watch last years LSU game. Go watch last years UT game. From players to fans there is no comparison in excitement level

I have no idea why yall think lying about it makes sense. Look, I get it, UT is the traditional rival. But that angst for LSU, and the excitement around the game, has been way bigger for LSU/Bama than UT/Bama in recent times

It isnt even worth arguing over

A Top 5 match-up and a game that would decide who takes the lead in the SEC West? Yeah...I can understand why the excitement level was so high in Tuscaloosa that night.

Trust me, there is no angst for LSU. The reason why the game has been bigger in recent times is because both teams have bene good and that game, more often than not, would decide the winner of the SEC West.

There is a rivalry with Alabama-LSU but I'm afraid that rivalry is very one sided, especially after the firing of Les Miles. Most Alabama fans only started caring about the LSU game due to the fact that Saban once coached there and because Les Miles was his successor. Now that Miles is gone, and now that LSU is on its way back to mediocrity, the game hardly means anything to me now.

Can't say the same for Auburn or for Tennessee. I don't care if they are winless coming into those games, I still want to beat them badly.

I dont disgree with any of this. Soon enough, LSU will be on to hating a different team. We have had 3 most hated in my lifetime alone.

My only point, is over the last 10 years or so, your players havent had UT as their biggest game. And neither have the fans

I didn't realize the players and fans lit up victory cigars after beating LSU.

I've been to every UA/UT game since 07. Going again this year. Can't say that about any other game.

Why didn't you sign your name?

One of the privileges of being a UT graduate is they send you this wallet-sized copy of your diploma.

I don't mind you seeing my name because I take responsibility for what I do.

UT winning at Bama with less than 5 minutes to go

LSU was down by 3 possessions until a field goal in the 4th brought you within 14

great example
