"In my opinion, we have not arrived as an offense. And he (Kiffin) would be the first to tell you that."

Saban: "My philosophy hasn't changed on there." Emphasizes he likes to open the offense up.

Nick Saban says he has been "begging the offensive coordinators around here to open up the offense ever since I've been here"

Saban: "I don't think we're anywhere near the type of team we're capable of being."

There's gonna be some pain laid on some people the rest of this year.

LOUD VOLUME SABAN AT THE PODIUM TODAY. LOUD NOISES!!!

Seems he's getting after the media..

Saban: "I got beat up like a drum for (the hire - Kiffin), but now it's great. You guys don't have any consequences for what you say and do."

I agree. I would like to be able to run between the tackles a bit more consistently.

I'm hoping four fumbles in 2.5 quarters isn't arriving as an offense, either.
And how many offensive penalties.

Saban realizes that there isn't 8 UFs left on the schedule.

He's channeling his inner-Miles.

At least he wants to open up the offense..

I'm not going to deflect this. These words out of Saban's mouth are scary. I do think he is fibbing a bit about never changing his philosophy though. He wants to open up the offense because he can't trust his defense like he once could, especially against the HUNH teams.

I think it would be more newsworthy if Saban ever said he was satisfied with anything (on the football field).

I'll take "Things that would shut down the Tiger Rant if Les Miles ever said it" for $500, Alex.

I just do not believe he has a QB on staff capable of doing what he wants to do. Maybe I'm wrong, but i can't see it.

He remembers the noise from his fan base, just a year ago after playing A&M. Many wanted to claim that their Offense would be the best in the History of College Football.

he isn't an offensive genius or anything. He made his money with defense and realizes others are more knowledgeable about offense than him.
