LF
3 games 78 rushes 370 yds 4.74 ypc 6 TD's 123.33 ypg

DH

2 games 51 rushes 357 yds 7 ypc 6 TD's 178.50 ypg

Stats provided by cfbstats . com and they use AP ranked teams, I'm assuming as of today.

Also, in conference play

LF
5 games 117 rushes 756 yds 6.46 ypc 10 TD's 151.20 ypg

DH
6 games 174 rushes 959 yds 5.51 ypg 10 TD's 159.83 ypg

I think the Heisman leader is pretty obvious.

You have to remember that LSU has other running backs. LSU would never run one of its backs 38 times in a game, for example.

Except LF7 rushed 31 times against Florida. So pretty damn close.

Inflated by games against a shitty LSU defense and a shitty Texas A&M defense

Bama wouldn't either but they can't help it if that LSU defense couldn't stop Henry as the game went on. The stats speak for themselves. Henry has played better than LF against ranked opponents.

Also I appreciate the effort Alahunter, but I made this exact thread about 4 hours ago and it got locked after 4 pages of LSU fans yelling at me. So good luck.

Derrick Henry averages 24.22 carries per game.

Leonard Fournette averages 24.37.

Stop trying to convince yourself your shitty running back will win the Heisman.

I don't give two fricks who wins the Heisman. I do, however, enjoy correcting inaccurate statements from people who start threads like this:

But why are you guys looking at ranked teams? Look at the rushing defenses each has faced.

If you repeat the "38 times" every time you think of Dhenry or LFournette, it will eventually help you get past another LSU catastrophic failure.

I think what Henry has done is remarkable, having done it without benefit of this years best offensive line in college football... just one that can't keep from putting itself in negative yardage all the time.

Congrats on all your qualifiers.

Henry has 3 games of less than 100 yards rushing.
LF has 1 game of less than 150 rushing.
Henry has 3 games where his ypc was over 5.5
LF has 7 games(all but one of his games. where his ypc was over 5.5.

Henry has 1 game with ypc over 9.
LF has 3 games with a ypc over 9.

Both are tremendous running backs. Henry has played better against stiffer competition thus far. LF7 will be more successful at the pro level. Everyone needs to quit ya bitchin and enjoy these two backs while we can.

When you put up the SEC stats, it's about as even as it gets. We will see if that continues.

I hope you realize that ranked opponents are not all equal. So is one to believe that running against Alabama's defense is the same as running against say TCU's? Both are ranked, but one is not like the other.

There are lies, damned lies, and statistics.

Yeah, it's quite clear who the better back is
