Sweet Jesus almost 10 guys averaging 6 yards a carry

Assuming he’s a 4 year player, Hurts is gonna have a metric frickton of TDs over his career

Just to clarify...

The guy who leads in exactly 0 categories is the "best rusher"?

So you think it should be between Hurts, Johnson, & Kelly because they're the only leaders?

I'll confess that I thought Damien Harris was gonna be a Terry Grant-like bust for Alabama, but I am incredibly happy to be wrong.

No flame- what's going on with kam petway? I admittedly haven't seen but about 2 minutes of AU this season, is he hurt? I'm probably more concerned abotu him than anyone else on your offense but I dont' see him listed.

Malik Davis has 311 yards in the last 3 games. He will be ascending this list soon

Could this be the first year in a very long time that Auburn does not have a 1000 yard rusher?

Slightly injured, saving him for the season. Gus was a moron to rush him so much against mercer and no one else

Doubtful Chubb is going to be leading any categories. He just isn't going to get enough carries for two reasons. One, they're trying to protect him and get him through the season healthy. Two, the backfield is too loaded with Swift and Michel needing touches, and that's not mentioning Holyfield and Herrien who would start for most teams. The fact that he's close speaks volumes about his ability.

People wonder if his injury affected his speed. No, what it affected was his ability to make people miss, the quick cuts.

Davis is such a stud. Would be top 5 in both yards and rushing TDs too if UF played the Northern Colorado game.

He's doing very well when he can get some touches. It's just hard to crack that backfield. He had a 95 yard kickoff return called back earlier this year. He played well in limited action against Tennessee.

No, but I think that some of these are a bit more off than others.

Just as an example, Alabama has 4 rushers all with more carries than the #2 back at UGA. Of course none of them are going to match a guy with 75 carries in yardage when they have 20 less. One could certainly make an argument, for example, for Damien Harris - who has just as many TDs and a much better YPC than Chubb.

Or Kelly or Crockett, whose numbers aren't nearly as impressive but don't have nearly the weapons around them (or OL blocking for them) as any rusher at UGA or Alabama.

Heck, I'd say that Kelly is probably the most impressive at over 5 ypc and leading in total yardage while still playing on Tennessee's atrocious offense.

Literally NOT a reason to not lead in YPC.

alright, just lost in the shuffle mostly. He had a great KO return that was called back and that's about all he's done really. Chubb/Michel/Swift take up the majority of the touches so after that it's between Holyfield and Herrian to pick up the scraps, which there aren't a whole lot of.
