Any details into this rumor? I see a few tweets about it and AlabamaBuckeye brought it up on the Alabama board I think. Any insider talk?

Bamaonline hasn't said anything about it, and there was no mention of it in the Practice Report from yesterday

He would be a really good edge player against spread offenses, IMO.

Honestly, we have Tim Williams, Devall, and Ryan Anderson... losing Evans won't be felt that much. He hasn't even been practicing with the 1's.

I was about to ask how he was doing. Was he expected to contribute this year? What exactly was his position supposed to be?

I think the goal was for his position to be anywhere but in Auburn's defense.

I read that people were saying knee, but it was a tweaked ankle. But knowing how rumors go, he could be fine, or dead.

I expect we'll know tomorrow one way or another. Only report is someone on twitter asking a radio guy if he was hurt and the radio guy said he heard that he was. So it's 3rd hand info at best at the moment.
