Ok... I like LSU but I gotta be honest. How the hell do they expect to make the dance with an 83 RPI? Dammit Johnny Jones.

If we play the rest of the season like we played tonight we'll be fine

Well we know that wont happen. Nit with this talent is a shame

Games in the next 2 weeks at SC and vs A&M will be huge for you guys. You also can't afford losses to teams like us, Auburn, or Moo State.

Knowing us we'll lose to aurburn and beat A&M lol

LSU is currently 1-3 vs top 50 teams. They are going to have 4 to 5 more opportunities to improve that with @SC, A&M, BAMA (if they move up), UF, and @UK. They really need to go 3-2 in this stretch plus only drop 1 to @Aub, State, @UT, @Ark, and Miz. If they do that then they finish 20-11 (13-5) with likely a respectable RPI.

If LSU, Bama & Vandy don't move into the top 50, USC only plays 3 teams in the top 50 RPI all year. What a crazy favorable conference schedule.

LSU below Bama and Georgia show that the RPI has its flaws.

We can't help it the conference sucks. I tried to tell you guys this when there was a bunch of "you'll be humbled in conference play" nonsense.

Thank you!

There is 4 good teams in the conference including SC and you just happen to only play the other 3 one time. A&M is in the same boat actually, but A&M also played ISU, BU, tu, Zaga, Cuse, KSU, and ASU outside of conference so no one notices.

That is why it is just one many tools used to evaluate teams.

If Arkansas goes on a run they could finish 12-6 and earn a bid even though they lost to
Akron
Georgia Tech
The Clemson, Stanford, and Dayton losses aren't looking as bad now.

Some of the RPI rankings. I think that's pretty obvious if you use your brain for a second before hammerin' away at your keyboard.

Would be crazy to think about Arkansas being in the tourney after how the season started. I will be happy if we make the NIT with this roster.

The RPI measures a teams resume not their talent or possible to level of play. LSU's resume is pretty meh, that's why their RPI isn't high. Not complicated to understand. Also why their Ken Pom is higher.
